Summit's Death.

Summit's Death

Everlasting as it seems,
A goal to reach the summit,
The old man strives,
To carry out his mission.

Never he thought,
His muscles would quiver,
Under the summit's death,
He would never shiver.

A step, a mile,
What difference he says,
When these legs serve,
No more than a yard.

Yet he persist,
To carry out his mission,
Under the summit's death,
He would never tremble.

The summit so ever proud,
Is just a stone's throw away,
His humble self,
Brought him to may.

He accomplishes his mission,
With his already weaken self,
Under the summit's death,
He prepares for another day.

A voice from the past,
A lilting tongue,
Carried by the winds of change,
Ghosts from times of old

A voice that seeks,
A listening ear,
One that will show emotion,
But not that of fear

A voice of clear intention,
One with a common goal,
To break the silence of the night,
To make itself heard

In the distance a ear prevails,
Catching semblances of an ethereal voice,
One with an important purpose?
Time to make the difficult choice

A moment engulfed in silence,
An interregnum of sorts,
When hungry ears search for,
Those haunting words.

Whaddaya say eh? I noe itz a bit patchy considering that itz impromptu, but it ain't half bad IMO. Haha. Enjoy!!

OMG at the rate it's going, I will be the only guy without a clue in Shakespearrean language. Guess I will have to rip out my guts and figure out a poem too. Probably something about Kampua noodles. Hmm..........
