Silly Mistake

I logged in to my school email address and the titled "AYB230 - MID-SEMESTER EXAM DETAILS" popped up. So I clicked on the link, and a new window opened up and the details of the mid semester exam was in the email. I read the email and came to the conclusion that this unit which I thought (auditing & assurance) midsems will clash with my Corporations Law midsem. So I wrote an email back to the lecturer.

Hello Michael,

At the same time on the day of the mid semester, I have the another mid sem to attend, corporations law. So is there another session to sit for the exam?

Only after queuing up 4 hours later at Nando's to have my extra hot half chicken, only I realised. Shit, I do not have an auditing & assurance midsem and what the heck was I blabbering about.
